SPLOST Update

We are pleased to share the results of the SPLOST vote that took place on November 7th. Thank you for your continued support of Coweta County and our efforts to better the community. The Coweta County elections office shared the unofficial vote, which shows 77 percent of voters were in favor of extending SPLOST!

SPLOST Vote Results

The one percent sales tax provided by SPLOST helps better towns throughout Coweta County including Newnan. Thank you so much for listening to our updates about SPLOST and coming out to vote!

SPLOST benefits all of Coweta County including Newnan, Senoia, Grantville and many more communities throughout our amazing county. The county will use SPLOST for countywide projects, including a new animal adoption center.

Coweta County has shared its plan for the SPLOST proceeds, which includes percentages for Fire Rescue, Parks and Recreation, Sheriff’s Office, and Public Works and Transportation.

The city of Newnan has many big plans for their SPLOST proceeds including more roads, sidewalks, and bridges. Their breakdown for utilizing the SPLOST includes Parks and Recreation, Public Facilities, Public Safety, Public Works, and Utility Infrastructure and Technology.

We can’t thank you enough for supporting SPLOST and helping us work to create a better Newnan for all our citizens and friends. Your friends at the LINC are so proud at your continued support of our mission through voting yes on SPLOST.

Thank you so much for making the time to go out and vote. This is extremely important for our community. We can’t wait to bring new projects to Newnan and we hope to see everyone out enjoying the LINC and our local parks and facilities in the future.

SPLOST will help make Coweta County and our local Newnan community a better place and will help our economy, as we improve the infrastructure of the place we call home.
