Thank You to Our Ready, Set, LINC Sponsors

We had such an amazing turnout at our Ready, Set, LINC event and we can’t thank all of our amazing sponsors and vendors enough! We could not put on this amazing event each year without your help and support.

Thank you so much for coming out on April 19th to help us celebrate the LINC and our beloved Newnan community.

Thank you so much to the Newnan PD, Newnan FD, Newnan Centre as well as all of our volunteers and vendors. Our amazing team of food truck vendors this year included Jalapeno Express, Mommie’s Empanadas, Mad Greek, Top It Off, and Frios.

Ready Set LINC has something for the whole family and we are so grateful to bring back the Battle of the Bands and introduce our Newnan friends to a special guest this year: Jessi Queen – a wonderfully talented chalk artist.

Battle of the Bands Winners

We had so much fun seeing everyone come out for our battle of the bands this year. The music was an amazing blend of genres and everyone had a blast! 

Our winners were announced at the event by LINC president Teresa Higgins.

Our 3rd place winner was Those Guys. In 2nd place, we had Chroma. And 1st place went to James & The GA Peaches.

Chalk Mural Artist

Jessi Queen Art came out and created a wonderful chalk mural during Ready Set LINC and she did an absolutely wonderful job. 

Everyone loved watching her create a beautiful piece of art and were in awe of her talent.

Another Successful Ready, Set, LINC 

Every year, we love having all our Newnan community together to celebrate the LINC and this year’s Ready Set LINC was no exception. 

This year’s event included so many wonderful activities for the entire family. These included fun activities perfect for kids including face painting, bounce houses, carnival games, mini gymnastics, wall climbing, and a children’s fun run.

The weather was warm, but we stayed refreshed with an ice cream truck and lemonade stand. The heat didn’t take away from the fun! 

This year, we also had a trolly train, which was a huge hit for kids as well as their parents! 

In addition to our selection of fun activities, many people also just came out to enjoy the outdoors while they listened to music and had some great local food! 

We loved seeing so many of our community come out and have fun together. And we can’t wait to see your happy faces using the LINC throughout the year. We hope to keep updating and expanding the LINC and its many features, so our lovely Newnan community can keep enjoying the beauty of nature as well as local art throughout our town.
