The LINC features two murals painted by renowned muralist John Christian of “GO GA Arts.” The murals can be viewed in the LINC tunnel under Lower Fayetteville Road, near the Summerlin and Newnan Centre parking areas.
The mural designs resulted from a collaboration with the art students of Newnan High School who participated in a design contest in the Spring semester of 2018. The designs were then transformed into the murals you see today. Several of the high school artists participated in the painting of the final designs.
John’s goal is to paint 50 murals in 50 Georgia cities in five years. He is well underway with this project, as the LINC murals are uniquely numbered as 18 and 19.
